TOWN KENNEL OF CERNAVODA, STD IS NEGOTIATING

In spite of our request to stop the works and to design a Western-standard shelter to be managed with a partnership, the local council of Cernavoda has decided to inaugurate its town kennel by the 1st of December. Last week, during an assembly, the mayor Mariana Mircea publicly asked STD to give its availability to manage this structure, considered by the mayor “an extension” of the present shelter. If STD does not accept to manage the kennel, the council will assign the responsibility to the society that manages Biobaza in Costanza, where each year thousands of dogs are “unofficially” eliminated because of diseases and privations. During another meeting with the mayor, STD has declared its willingness in managing the kennel only if half of its expenses and half of the operating costs of our shelter are met by the municipality. Negotiations with the local council continue: if we don’t come to an economic agreement, the umpteenth concentration camp for Romanian stray dogs will be opened, next to our shelter.

Mi auguro tanto che la trattativa STD con il sindaco Mariana Micea si concluda in base alla Vostra onesta offerta: il canile di Cernavoda gestito da STD deve essere una sorta di canile Comunale pilota e di esempio agli altri Comuni Rumeni.
In Romania la \\\’legge per la tutela degli animali di affezione e prevenzione del randagismo\\\’ è aggiornata ai requisiti standard previsti dalla UE ?

Mi sa che è proprio così.STD non riesce a coprire le intere spese e se il comune non accetta, non potrà prendere l’incarico del canile..speriamo che si trovi un accordo. MA CHI HA FATTO ENTRARE LA ROMANIA IN EUROPA? E PERCHE’ NON SI IMPONE ALLA ROMANIA DI COMPORTARSI IN MODO LOGICO E CONSONO COME NEL RESTO D’EUROPA? BISOGNEREBBE CHE PER OGNI CANE UCCISO COSì, SE NE UCCIDESSE UNO (DI QUELLI CHE TRATTANO COSì I CANI) ALLO STESSO MODOOO!! SCUSATE PER LO SFOGO

Si, la legge è aggiornata perchè hanno recepito la Convenzione di Strasburgo, ma quando si entra nello specifico della normativa che regola i canili, le cose sono diverse: si prevede uno spazio di 2mq per cani, un’inezia, e non sono definiti degli standard minimi di “comfort” per le povere bestie. Le probabilità che la trattativa vada in porto sono molto scarse, inutile negarlo, perchè non sappiamo se ci sono garanzie di un pagamento puntuale nè il canile è stato fatto secondo un nostro progetto, quindi non sarebbe la struttura esemplare che noi chiedevamo. giulia ha proprio ragione, la romania dovrebbe comportarsi come il resto d’europa visto che hanno tanto desiderato di essere in UE.Vi prego non abbandonate i cani sfortunati..vi supplico!.
