In spite of the growing involvement in our projects of members and supporters abroad, STD has decided to create delegations that do not have an administrative and legal autonomy, but that merge (with the fundraising) into STD Italy. In spite of the deep trust towards foreign members, we believe that the creation of independent sections must occur only when an association is able to give uniformity and coherence to the work of the central seat and of the peripheral ones with a rigorous control of the administrative procedures. As STD is in a phase of growth and consolidation in Italy and in Romania, we preferred to recognise and to structure the precious work of some members in delegations that work in symbiosis with the head office of Milan. These delegations have a very important role of promotion of the projects of STD, of increase of the fundraising and of adoptions.

PRINCIPALITY OF MONACO
Born in Germany, Ute has been living and working in the Principality of Monaco for a number of years. After adopting Swany, a dog used for shark fishing in the Isle of Reunion, she visited our website and saw little Mia who had been saved from death in Chiajna and adopted her. With Mia becoming a member of her family, Ute has turned into an enthusiastic promoter of STD projects and has already visited our shelters in Romania many times.
Every year in September, together with her friend Fiamma T., she organizes a charity dinner at the Grand Hotel Del Mare in Bordighera.
