Like every year in September, the friends of the Principality of Monaco – inspired by Ute and financially supported by Fiamma – have organized a nice dinner for Save the Dogs. 50 people have listened to the speech of Save the Dogs’ president and donated 17,500 Euros to the new veterinary clinic in Cernavoda. Thank you!
The first trip our Italian members made to Romania has brought a lot of beautiful experiences. Their guide during this trip was president Sara Turetta, together with Selena and Francesca, two members of the staff in Milan.
The guests were given the opportunity to meet the 600 animals in our custody and also to get to know the people who look after them, visiting Cernavoda to Medgidia projects with a stop at the Don Orione center in Bucharest to present the riding therapy project. (more…)
Our fundraising event at the British School of Bucharest was a succes. We were kindly invited to celebrate the end of school year along with other non-profit organizations. We collected 780 RON (about 170 Euros), which will go to fund a party for children in Cernavoda on the 4th of September.

Another international award of prestige has been handed on the 5th of June to the STD in London. This award is the Marsh International Animal Welfare, received by the president Sara Turetta.
This prize has been founded by the British Marsh Christian Trust in partnership with the international organization WSPA and it is handed to those associations which had a major worldwide contribution to the positive evolution on the animal welfare. For the first time this award has been given to an Italian association. (more…)
