As the mild weather is back, our mobile clinic activity starts again. Last May 19, Alina and her staff went to Limanu, a town not far from Costanza where – thanks to the presence of our volunteer Mihaela – many pet owners accepted to sterilize their pets free. In one day 30 dogs and cats have been operated by the Save the Dogs doctor. This week we have two missions: going back to Limanu and a visit to Topraisar village, where we have been going for a long time and where we are starting to reap the fruits of our labour. To see all the pictures of the Save the Dogs team at work in Limanu, please visit our album on Facebook. To contribute to the mobile clinic project, it is possible to make a donation through our bank accounts, specifying “Mobile Clinic” in the subject line.
After the winter pause our mobile clinic missions start again in the province of Costanza, even thought they will be carried out only in the warmer days.
Last week Alina and her staff went back to the Black Sea, near Mangalia, where the situation is very serious. Here, thanks to the help of a Romanian girl who runs a small marina, tens of families are vaccinating their farmyard animals free, while lots of small dogs are included – after a stalemate – in the Save the Dogs international adoption program. Unfortunately the dramatic cases (as the black dog in the picture, that unfortunately could not make it) are a lot and we would like to increase our motor home activities during 2011, if our funds will allow us to, to vaccinate as many animals as possible and to cure the injured or ill ones, that are going to die in the streets.
To support the Save the Dogs mobile clinic activities it is possible to donate through our bank accounts, specifying in the cause line “Mobile Clinic”.
