’ 200 activists have gathered sunday morning in Lotto square in Milan to protest against the killings ’ of dogs in Romania and, generally, against pets euthanasia in EU countries. The venue, promoted by the Radicali party in collaboration with STD, has been attended by many representants from the most important Italian animal welfare organizations (Enpa, LAV, Lega del cane, Animalisti Italiani, LEAL) and by volunteers involved with the adoptions of Romanian dogs. The meeting had a good’ media coverage thanks to the presence of Rai2 and due to the news published by some among main newspapers. Disappointing, on the other hand, the fact that none of the Vip that had announced their presence has joined the protest. See more pictures clicking on INITIATIVES-EVENTS.
