POISONING FOR THE DOGS OF CALARASI’S PARK

They were found by the same citizens who daily went there to feed them: they don’t know exactly how many dogs died still, but once again someone decided to
“clean up” the city park, with the illusion to reduce the number of stray dogs here with some poisoned meatball. One of the dogs were recently neutered by STD (as you can see in the picture above). Once again who could have done this
inhuman gesture remains unknown, it is probably about a few citizens “exasperated” by wandering dogs. We can’t just make any comment about this hundredth episod of gratuitous cruelty reminding this people that in a city here there are present about 5.000 stray dogs, poisoning about ten of them is just useless, silly and uncivilized.

Suddenly last night our friend Emilio Nessi has passed away. Emilio was a journalist working for several national tv channels, who has been focused during all his career on animal rights. He visited several times our shelters in Romania and he has given an important contribution to the promotion of STD projects.
