Little Alin, wounded and brought to our shelter in Calarasi by a passer-by who found him, was successfully operated on. His left eye was removed but, in general, his conditions are good A Swiss family may adopt him once he has fully covered and been vaccinated. There are still 160 dogs that need to leave our shelter in Calarasi: STD’s operational headquarters in Milan has been in contact with many animal shelters in Central and Northern Italy that have offered to help us during this very dramatic situation.

Great participation of people and quadrupeds for the conference of Sara Turetta which took place last 14 October in Rivera, in the neighbourhood of Lugano. About a dozen romenian dogs adopted through the “Protezione Animali” of Bellinzona were present, together with the STD responsible for adoptions in Switzerland. Click here to see the photos.

Alin has been brought to Calarasi by a passer-by a few days ago: maybe beaten, maybe attacked by a stray dog.
Alin has been operated and now he is convalescing. If he recovers, we are sure that he will find a loving family abroad. He is a small dog, so easily adoptable.
