The Romanian news channel Antena 3 broadcast images of a mass grave in the locality of Resita, where health authorities have found the corpses of dozens of stray dogs in decomposition. Autopsies conducted on some of the dogs, have revealed that they suffered terrible pain before dying. It is not clear who is responsible for dumping the corpses of the poor animals. Libero, the doggie rescued some weeks ago and hosted in our Medgidia shelter, is better. However, the physical ricovery is not yet matched by a psychological improvement. The stray has been scarred by past distress an is very frightened. Within the limits of our capabilities, we are trying to help him recover his trust in humans.
