Qualifying Aspects of the experience:
– volunteers learn how to work in a very fast-paced environment and under pressure;
– their flexibility will be put to the test to carry out medical activities and to adapt to an environment extremely different from their habitual work milieu since, for instance, sterilisation and diagnostic instruments are limited and the animals to treat are in extremely poor conditions;
– they will also become acquainted with a reality which is very far away from a social, cultural and economic point of view.
