The donkey by the name Marcel was left in our care by his former owner, a farmer from Tulcea county (which is quite far away from Cernavoda), who was very fond of the donkey, but couldn’t afford to keep him any longer. (more…)
This time the victim of the abuse was not a homeless dog, but one that was living in a monastery in Tulcea County. The dog was attacked by a shower of darts blown from a pipe that injured him rather severely on the snout (as you can see on the picture below). The nuns, who were already familiar with our work and have known about the centre of Save the Dogs in Medgidia, took the injured animal there, where it was taken into the care of our staff.. (more…)
