Keep the animals at Footprints of Joy safe

After a trip to Romania, I decided to leave behind everything I had and move there, as I wanted to defend the right to a dignified life for the abandoned animals of that country. Since then, 17 years have passed.

For a long time, I lived in Romania and built Footprints of Joy, which today is a center of excellence that cares, hosts and gives a future to thousands of animals.

I carry all the animals of the center in my heart. Even if I don’t live there anymore and can’t be there every day, I often return to Footprints of Joy and follow their healing paths.

Today, helping Save the Dogs grow and develop new projects to save as many animals as possible has become my priority.
February 15th will be my birthday; do you know what my biggest wish is? I wish to continue protect and be close to my animal friends over there.

We need to secure the whole area of Footprints of Joy: we need to protect our animals from people with bad intentions and be able to monitor their health even better. And then, this technology would allow me to continue to be close to our beloved guests.

To make this wish come true we need €15,000.Together we can do it. It is a present for me, but it is above all a present for them: a concrete way to make them live safely.

Thank you very much for your support!

Save the Dogs and other Animals onlus works to improve the quality of life of dogs and cats living on the streets.
The Italian association was founded in 2002 and has been operating for over 17 years in Romania, where the stray animals phenomenon is a real social scourge.  Since 2019 Save the Dogs is also active in Southern Italy with “No More Puppies”, a spaying program in collaboration with local associations and veterinarians.
