Too many puppies

Our numbers in Italy

Reached 200 sterilizations

Kicked off in March 2019, the project – in collaboration with the volunteers from the Oreste Zevola association, Naples –  foresees 200 sterilizations to be completed by February 2020.

At the end of December, 187 dogs were neutered  (about half of them with owners) while 93 stray dogs were registered by the census app in the area involved by the project.

An excellent result due to the great work of our local partner but also to the good reaction of the population, which has so far responded well to the offer of free of charge sterilizations.

It is important to point out the high number of molossians (about thirty) reached and registered in the Regional registry.

All detailed data and statistics will be shared in March, at the end of the first year.

Finally, we financed another 44 sterilizations divided between Torre Del Greco, Trapani and Lamezia Termine, helping some targeted situations in Southern Italy for which we have been asked.

The first year of the Italy program therefore closes with 231 sterilizations carried out thanks to the generosity of our supporters.
