While for many years the disabled children have been hidden inside their houses in Cernavoda, in 2014 the city administration has finally decided to open a day center offering medical services and recreational services to their families.<\/p>\n

Following this admirable initiative, Save the Dogs<\/em> decided to concretely contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of these children by activating also in Cernavoda the project It’s Donkey Time!.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This unique opportunity was given by the Foundation Paideia<\/em><\/a> from Torino, already main sponsor of the project developed between 2012 and 2014 at the orphanage Don Orione in Bucharest.<\/p>\n

Se per lunghi anni i bambini portatori di handicap sono rimasti nascosti nelle case di Cernavoda, nel 2014 l\u2019amministrazione comunale ha finalmente deciso di aprire un centro diurno in grado di offrire servizi medici e ricreativi alle loro famiglie. In seguito a tale lodevole iniziativa, Save the Dogs ha deciso di dare un contributo concreto al miglioramento delle condizioni di vita di questi bambini attivando anche a Cernavoda il progetto It\u2019s Donkey Time!.
Tale straordinaria possibilit\u00e0 ci \u00e8 stata data dalla fondazione Paideia di Torino http:\/\/www.fondazionepaideia.it\/ita\/home, gi\u00e0 sponsor principale del progetto svoltosi tra il 2012 e il 2014 presso l\u2019orfanotrofio Don Orione di Bucarest.
Nel 2015 saranno 20 i bambini disabili che svolgeranno attivit\u00e0 terapeutiche con gli asinelli all\u2019interno del rifugio Footprints of Joy. Save the Dogs e Paideia provvederanno al trasporto dei piccoli beneficiari e dei loro genitori, all\u2019allestimento di una zona ristoro, alla merenda e al pagamento del personale qualificato che si occuper\u00e0 della terapia.
