background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221; text_orientation=&#8221;justified&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]Romania is sadly known worldwide for the <strong>frightening number of abandoned dogs<\/strong> and the <strong>brutal treatment<\/strong> to which other animals are subjected.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2001 this country has planned <strong>the elimination of the strays<\/strong>, which takes place in the notorious public kennels 14 days after their entry.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2002 <em>Save the Dogs<\/em> has been operating in a very poor area in the south-east of the country, Cernavoda, where our president personally started the first neutering program.<\/p>\n<p>Over time <strong>the project has grown<\/strong> and expanded its range of action until reaching an operational staff of 50 people.<br \/>\nIn the following sections <strong>the various activities<\/strong> are presented: some take place only when the targeted funding exists, (such as the ones for the mobile clinic and pet-therapy with donkeys), but we try to give maximum continuity to all of them, because <strong>only an &#8220;integrated&#8221; approach<\/strong> which addresses the problem of stray animals on several sides <strong>can lead to lasting results over time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=zLYAgvdznN1w.ka1ofYT9oR-Y\" width=\"1080\" height=\"550\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243;
