A portable ultrasound scanner that will allow us to make accurate diagnoses and save lives; comfortable beds to improve the wellbeing of dogs waiting for a new life in kennels. A special donation from some of our supporters meant that we could go the extra mile for dogs in Italy and Romania and enabled us to purchase equipment that will make all the difference.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"The new equipment will arrive at the Licola Mare (Naples) dog pound, which houses around 280 dogs, many of them elderly. The kennel is entirely made of concrete, so in the winter months the contact of the dogs\u2019 paws on the floor can worsen orthopedic problems and arthritis.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the new Kuranda<\/em> beds we have been able to purchase, the animals – especially the older ones – will have a more comfortable bed to sleep in, which is better suited to their needs.<\/p>\n

They are washable, indestructible, orthopedic and improve the well-being of caged dogs considerably.<\/p>\n

In Romania, we were able to replace our old ultrasound machine with a new, portable one, which we will also be able to use on donkeys and horses. This equipment will enable us to make more accurate diagnoses and save more lives. \"\"<\/p>\n

Un ecografo portatile che ci permetter\u00e0 di fare diagnosi accurate e salvare vite, letti confortevoli per migliorare il benessere dei cani che aspettano una nuova vita in canile. Una donazione speciale di una coppia di nostri sostenitori si \u00e8 fatta in due per i cani dell\u2019Italia e della Romania e ci ha permesso di acquistare attrezzatture in grado di fare la differenza.<\/strong><\/p>

\"\"La prima attrezzatura \u00e8 arrivata nel canile di Licola Mare (NA), che ospita circa 280 cani, molti dei quali anziani. La struttura \u00e8 tutta in cemento e d\u2019inverno il contatto delle zampe con il pavimento peggiora i problemi di tipo ortopedico e le artriti.<\/p>

Grazie ai letti Kuranda<\/em> che abbiamo acquistato, gli animali - soprattutto quelli pi\u00f9 anziani - hanno ora un giaciglio pi\u00f9 confortevole e adatto alle loro esigenze.<\/p>

I nuovi lettini sono lavabili, indistruttibili, ortopedici e migliorano immensamente il benessere dei cani rinchiusi in gabbia.<\/p>

In Romania abbiamo potuto sostituire il vecchio ecografo con uno nuovo e portatile, che potremo utilizzare anche per gli asini e i cavalli. Questa attrezzatura ci permetter\u00e0 di effettuare diagnosi pi\u00f9 accurate e di salvare delle vite.\"\"<\/p>
