One such example is Campania, where a ban was introduced by regional law on 11 April 2019 but without specifying any sanctions, a fact that has rendered the measure totally ineffective.

The initial action of the campaign was to launch the first petition in June 2021, addressed to the governor of the Campania region and asking for the introduction of severe penalties for those who violate the ban.

In just a few weeks, more than 10,000 people signed the petition, which led to the extraordinary result of the introduction of fines of up to €2,000 for anyone infringing the law. The campaign was even more successful, however, as it encouraged other animal welfare associations to act in order to achieve major breakthroughs, such as in Lazio, where a specific ban was introduced in August 2021, the latest region to align itself with other victorious regions like Umbria, Campania and Marche.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ disabled_on=”on|on|on” admin_label=”Footer” _builder_version=”4.4.1″ background_color=”#242424″ disabled=”on”][et_pb_row column_structure=”3_5,2_5″ _builder_version=”4.4.1″ max_width=”80%”][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.4.1″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.4″ text_font=”Open Sans||||||||” text_text_color=”#ffffff” header_font=”Open Sans||||||||” header_text_align=”right” header_2_font=”Open Sans|800|||||||” header_2_text_color=”#ffffff” header_3_font=”Open Sans|700|||||||” header_3_text_align=”right” header_3_text_color=”#ffffff” header_3_font_size=”1.5em” header_4_font=”Open Sans|700|||||||” header_4_text_color=”#ffffff”]

Save the Dogs and other Animals

C.F. 97394230151

Indirizzo: Via V.
