44 animals have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped<\/strong><\/h2>\n

All of the animals have been sterilized, vaccinated against rabies and microchipped so that they can be more easily identified in the future. The volunteers we have been working with over the past year have been in charge of selecting dogs and cats from the streets and taking them to our partner clinics, where they are operated on and looked after at the inpatient center for a day.<\/p>\n

Once they have fully recovered, our volunteers then take them back to where they collected them from, and continue to feed and monitor the animals to ensure they don’t develop any complications or infections after surgery.<\/p>\n

Save the Dogs <\/em>is covering all the costs of these procedures and continues to send food for the thousands of animals still struggling to survive on the streets.<\/p>\n

Three shelters in Odessa are ready to begin sterilizing their animals<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We will also begin a new partnership with a second clinic over the coming weeks that will enable us to further increase the number of sterilizations performed in Odessa, and three other shelters in this area are already getting ready to join the operation as well.<\/p>\n

We are carefully evaluating the possibility of extending the project to other new partners and volunteers, but as always everything will depend on the funds we are able to raise in the future.<\/p>\n

Tutti gli animali sono stati sterilizzati, vaccinati contro la rabbia e microchippati, in modo da identificarli pi\u00f9 facilmente in futuro. I volontari con cui stiamo collaborando da un anno a questa parte si occupano di selezionare cani e gatti dalle strade e di portarli nelle cliniche partner dove vengono operati e tenuti in degenza per un giorno.<\/p>

Una volta che si sono ripresi, li riportano sul territorio e continuano a sfamarli e monitorarli per assicurarsi che non sviluppino eventuali complicazioni o infezioni dopo l\u2019intervento.<\/p>

Save the Dogs<\/em> si occupa di coprire tutti i costi della procedura e di inviare il cibo necessario a sfamare le migliaia di animali che lottano per sopravvivere sulle strade.<\/p>

Nelle prossime settimane partir\u00e0 anche una collaborazione con una seconda clinica che ci permetter\u00e0 di aumentare ulteriormente il numero delle sterilizzazioni. Mentre tre rifugi dell\u2019area di Odessa sono gi\u00e0 pronti a portare anche i loro animali.<\/p>

Stiamo valutando attentamente la situazione per estendere il progetto a nuovi partner e volontari, ma tutto dipender\u00e0 dai fondi che riusciremo a raccogliere.<\/p>
