We have sterilized more than 800 animals in Ukraine<\/strong>, accomplishing this result in just four months since the program first began. The campaign has been made possible thanks to our international network of volunteers, veterinarians, and supporters. Operations continued throughout August, as did the food shipments.<\/p>\n

More than 800 animals sterilized in Ukraine since April <\/strong><\/h2>\n

After war broke out in Ukraine, thousands of dogs and cats were left to survive alone on the streets. While our priority during the winter months was to ensure they received enough food<\/strong>, it became critical to prevent them from breeding uncontrollably with the arrival of spring and the litter season.<\/p>\n

We therefore initiated a sterilization program<\/strong><\/a> at the end of April together with a number of veterinary clinics in Odessa<\/strong> and our local partners, with whom we have been cooperating for more than a year now.<\/p>\n

We have already exceeded our first major milestone in just four months: 822 animals, including dogs and cats, sterilized in the Odessa region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the forthcoming months, thanks to our closely knit network of international cooperation \u2013 which includes volunteers working in the field, local veterinarians, and thousands of people and companies supporting us long-distance \u2013 we will be able to extend this program to Mykolaiv and Izmail<\/strong>, cities where the problem of stray animals is worsening every single day.<\/p>\n

Food shipments are also ongoing<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We have been active throughout the month of August, in parallel with the dispatch of food<\/strong> and other useful essential materials that we have been sending uninterruptedly since the early days of the conflict.<\/p>\n

A total of almost 900 tons of dog and cat food<\/strong> have been sent to Ukraine, providing vital support for the hundreds of volunteers who still risk their lives every day to feed the animals they care for on the streets.<\/p>\n
