When we found Minnie in a shantytown outside Cernavoda, she was weak, unresponsive, and clearly petrified. All her puppies didn\u2019t make it, and she was left all alone. During her first days at the shelter, she spent hours just staring into space. She was in good health, but was overwhelmed by sadness. She carried a deep sadness within her, coupled with a sense of mistrust.<\/p>\n

Our staff patiently and carefully nursed her back to health, and day by day, Minnie started to thrive once more. She discovered the comfort of human contact, of play, and the joys of simply being alive.<\/p>\n

As time passed, the immense pain she had carried inside her slowly faded. Today, Minnie has begun a new chapter of her life.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She has been adopted, and now lives in Sweden with a family that adores her, a young girl with whom she shares a deep bond, and a new four-legged companion with whom she shares walks and moments of sheer happiness. Minnie will never be alone again.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s stories like hers that remind us that, even in the darkest times, hope can be reignited. Every animal we rescue has their life rewritten and their destiny transformed, thanks to the support of people like you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Il progetto Amici di strada, compagni di vita<\/em> si allarga ancora: da oggi anche in via Pucci<\/strong> e via Saponaro<\/strong>, a Milano, sono attivi nuovi box sicuri per accogliere temporaneamente i cani delle persone senza dimora mentre queste accedono a servizi essenziali come docce, guardaroba e mensa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Grazie alla collaborazione con il Comune di Milano e realt\u00e0 del terzo settore come la cooperativa Detto Fatto<\/em> e la Fondazione Fratelli di San Francesco, altri due punti strategici della citt\u00e0<\/strong> entrano a far parte della rete solidale che abbiamo costruito insieme per non lasciare indietro nessuno \u2013 n\u00e9 le persone n\u00e9 i loro animali.<\/p>\n

In entrambi i centri, alcuni operatori hanno ricevuto una formazione specifica per aiutare gli animali a gestire il distacco temporaneo<\/strong> dai loro compagni umani, garantendo sicurezza, monitoraggio dello stato di salute e, se necessario, le prime cure veterinarie.<\/p>\n

Come raccontato anche da la Repubblica<\/em><\/a>, i nuovi box si inseriscono in un pi\u00f9 ampio piano di coprogettazione per l\u2019inclusione sociale, coordinato dall\u2019Assessorato al Welfare del Comune. A oggi, sono 10 i box attivi in citt\u00e0<\/strong>, distribuiti in cinque servizi dedicati a chi vive in condizioni di grave marginalit\u00e0.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00c8 un piccolo passo, ma carico di significato<\/em>\u00bb, ha dichiarato la nostra presidente Sara Turetta<\/strong>. \u00abUn modello replicabile che auspichiamo possa essere esteso anche ad altri servizi e citt\u00e0<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n
