YOUR DONATION
CAN SAVE
A LIFE
Every year, more than 200 animals arrive at our clinic in a critical condition.
They come from the streets or from rural areas where veterinary care is unavailable.
They are often injured. Some have been victims of road accidents. Others are suffering from malnutrition or serious illnesses. Their lives are often hanging by a thread.
First aid is crucial: immediate intervention is required, followed by diagnostic tests and treatment to stabilize them.
Until 31 July, your donation will be matched, helping us to cover the essential costs of saving hundreds of animals every year at the Footprints of Joy clinic.

BOB LIFE WAS HANGING BY A THREAD
Without urgent treatment, he wouldn’t have survived!
We found Bob in early December in the countryside around Costanza, malnourished and suffering from a severe case of mange.
To make matters even worse, he was also experiencing serious kidney problems.
His condition was deteriorating day by day.
Thanks to the daily care and constant monitoring of our veterinary team, Bob’s condition has steadily improved.
Bob is safe today, but there are hundreds of animals like him who may not survive without life-saving treatment.

Save the Dogs and other Animals Foundation works to combat stray animal overpopulation and improve the quality of life for owned dogs and cats, particularly in socially disadvantaged contexts. Founded in 2002, Save the Dogs has been operating in Romania for over 20 years, where the issue of stray animals remains a serious social problem.
Since 2019, it has also been active in Southern Italy with a free spay/neuter program in collaboration with local associations and veterinarians. And since 2021, it has launched the first assistance program for the dogs of homeless people in the city of Milan.
