Arcaplanet in the streets with Friends on the Street for a more supportive Milan

On Thursday 24th June, the Arcaplanet team joined our mobile unit on the field, working alongside veterinarians and volunteers from the Friends on the Street project. Together, we distributed free Arcaplanet kits containing food and essential items to people and animals in need: homeless people or those in extremely vulnerable situations who lovingly care for their animals every day but lack the means to ensure their health and well-being.

This inclusive gesture follows the support already received in the spring thanks to the United Pets solidarity dog bowl, the proceeds of which, doubled by the Arcaplanet Foundation, help to provide free veterinary care and daily support to dozens of vulnerable dogs and cats.

This intervention in the field was also an opportunity to show our daily work up close and to illustrate the impact of social veterinary medicine: an action that is not limited to the care of animals, but which strengthens the bond between humans and animals, supporting people’s dignity and their relationship with their four-legged friends.
