‘I cani, la mia vita’, the autobiography of Sara Turetta, arrived in Germany!
We are delighted to share some wonderful news: the autobiography of our founder and president, Sara Turetta, has been translated into German and was presented at the Frankfurt International Book Fair, the most important book fair in Europe.
Following the Italian edition, ‘I cani, la mia vita’ has now arrived in a new country where there is a very strong bond with dogs rescued from Romania. Over the last 25 years, thousands of dogs from public kennels or the streets of Romania have found homes in Germany, thanks to the work of many dedicated associations, including Wir für Hunde in Not, our adoption partner.
Christine Goeb Kummel, founder if the publishing house, believes in the publishing project. Christine has adopted four dogs from Romania, one of which is disabled. There could be no one better suited to bring this story to the German public.
After the presentation in Frankfurt, a second event is planned for November in northern Germany, and new dates for 2026 are already in the pipeline.
If you have German friends or relatives, we recommend this special read: as well as being a special gift for animals: €1 from every copy sold will be donated to Save the Dogs.
A concrete way to continue helping animals.
