Expanded edition of Sara Turetta's autobiography unveiled at the Sormani Library

Sara Turetta
The expanded edition of the autobiography of Sara Turetta, the founder and president of Save the Dogs and other Animals ETS, was presented at the prestigious Sormani library in Milan on 12 June.
Sara shared her story with a large, engaged audience of supporters and citizens fascinated by her twenty-year journey advocating for animal welfare and social justice.
The event delved into the key themes of the book, which recounts the founder’s journey, from her decision to leave the world of communication in Italy to the creation and development of Save the Dogs in Romania, and right up to the organization’s most recent activities in Italy.
Heartfelt thanks go to publishing house Sonda, who believed in the importance of this testimony and pledged to donate 1 Euro for every copy sold to help fund Save the Dogs‘ projects.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Marina Beraha, a researcher in Moral Philosophy, who led the presentation and offered thought-provoking reflections, and to Federica Chiesa, a cherished supporter, who helped make the event possible.
This initiative was a important opportunity to engage in dialogue and raise awareness about the key issues at the heart of the Foundation’s mission, further strengthening the bond between the organization and its community of supporters.
