Story of the month: Volt
Every life we save is a new story. Today, we’re sharing Volt's journey.
Volt
When Volt arrived at our shelter, his condition was critical. He was a street cat, and had been electrocuted after jumping onto exposed power lines while trying to escape from some dogs that were chasing him.
We had to perform emergency surgery on him immediately: unfortunately, one of his legs and an ear were irreparably damaged and had to be amputated.
Despite everything, Volt was very fortunate in some ways. He didn’t suffer any serious internal injuries, and managed to survive the recovery process with incredible strength and determination. Today, he is a playful, lively, and curious cat who is full of life.
But the most beautiful part of his story isn’t just his rescue—it is the fresh start he has been able to enjoy.
Volt has recently been adopted by a loving family. A kind person welcomed him into their home, giving him the affection, care, and security he had never known. And, to top it off, he now has a four-legged female companion. After some time spent getting to know each other and studying one another, the two animals have become fast friends, playing together and enjoying each other’s company.
Volt will never be alone again. There will never be a day when he won’t be loved.
For us, this is the most rewarding part of our work —helping injured, frightened, and neglected animals find new hope in the homes and hearts of loving families.

Volt and his new friend
Thanks to your support, we can continue to give animals like Volt the second chances they deserve. Every donation we receive allows us to care for, nurture, and offer a new life to those who have endured the hardships of the streets and have never experienced the warmth of an adoptive family.
Thank you for always being there and standing at our sides.
