Angelo Vaira's birthday is transformed into a gift for animals

Angelo Vaira
Some people celebrate by blowing out candles on a cake… while others choose to kindle a spark of hope.
To mark his birthday, Angelo Vaira decided to celebrate in a meaningful way, by launching a fundraising campaign to benefit Save the Dogs.
A scholar of ethology, animal cognitive science, and human psychology, Angelo is the founder of the ThinkDog dog school, the developer of the Cognitive-Relational approach to dogs, and the creator of ‘Classi di Socializzazione’® (Socialization Classes). A longtime supporter of our Foundation, he wanted to dedicate this charitable gesture to very vulnerable animals.
Angelo is no stranger to such acts of generosity: last December, he participated in our Advent Calendar initiative by sharing tips for living with pets. He dedicated the Animal Blessing Ceremony to Save the Dogs and donated all the collected offerings.
Thanks to his proposal, anyone can make a contribution, no matter the amount. This birthday is more than just a celebration – it’s a meaningful expression of love and care for those in real need.
A heartfelt thank you, Angelo, for your ongoing support and commitment, and for sharing our belief that every single life is invaluable.

Starting a fundraising campaign is easy, and you can quickly set it up online, inviting your friends to participate in an act of kindness. It benefits you, as the organizer, and helps the animals we save every day, thanks to the generous donations from those who choose to contribute.
The most meaningful gift possible is one that can transform a life.
