A Journey That Leaves a Lasting Impression
The ethical trip organized in collaboration with Green World at our “Footprints of Joy” sanctuary in Romania concluded on an extremely positive note. For several days, participants had the opportunity to experience the daily life of the sanctuary firsthand, actively contributing to daily activities through simple yet valuable tasks necessary for the care of the animals housed there.
An intense and authentic experience, made even more special by the warm welcome from the Romanian staff, who accompanied the group throughout their stay, sharing not only the daily work but also moments of camaraderie and discovery of the local culture, preparing delicious vegetarian dishes typical of Romanian tradition.
We were also delighted to welcome back to our shelter Ester Pogliani, who has long followed and supported Save the Dogs’ activities with great sensitivity and dedication.
A special thank you to Green World, a partner company that has chosen to stand by our side for years and provide concrete support for our projects, including, starting this year, through responsible and socially conscious travel experiences.
We also thank Vetdog, which, during the visit, donated 700 kilograms of food for the shelter’s dogs: a valuable contribution for our guests.
