Story of the month: Isotta

Isotta is one of the 250 animals rescued each year by our team in Romania, all of whom receive free care at our veterinary clinic.

As soon as she arrived at Footprints of Joy, we immediately realized that the puppy urgently needed surgery.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to save her hind leg.

Despite this traumatic experience, Isotta is now a lively puppy learning to walk on three legs. If we hadn’t taken her in and cared for her, Isotta would have been one of the thousands of dogs that die every day on the streets of Romania, amid general indifference.

Just another number. Instead, together with you, we’ve rewritten her story, and soon we’ll find a family to adopt her forever.
