In some areas of Southern Italy stray dogs represent a dramatic issue. Kennels are overcrowded and packed with puppies who – in most cases – will never find a family.

Despite the commitment of thousands of volunteers, it’s very difficult to really affect the source of the problem. In fact, it is essential to act simultaneously on stray dogs and on private pets, running neutering programs which do require lots of human and financial resources.

Too Many Puppies is Save the Dogs’ first Italian project, following the experience gained during 16 years of hard work in Romania. Local neutering programs will be run in cooperation with small rescue groups, carefully selected by us.

Too Many Puppies will be entirely sponsored by a fund which relies on your generosity!
